Regular school attendance is very important for students because being in class helps us learn and grow every day. When students come to school on time, they do not miss important lessons, directions, or class activities that help them understand their work better. Attending school also teaches responsibility and good habits that will be useful later in life, such as being dependable and prepared. When students are absent often, it can be harder to keep up with assignments and stay connected with classmates and teachers. By coming to school every day, students give themselves the best chance to succeed and reach their goals.

The goal behind keeping attendance issues at a low level is to help students succeed both academically and personally. When students attend school regularly, they are more likely to understand lessons, complete assignments on time, and stay engaged in learning. Good attendance also supports a positive school environment, where students can build strong relationships with teachers and classmates. By encouraging regular attendance, schools aim to promote responsibility, consistency, and positive habits that prepare students for future success. Keeping attendance problems low helps ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Rewards Criteria

-no more than 3 absences in a 2 month span. (excused or unexcused) 

-quarterly rewards will be given to all students that fit the criteria, on a specified day during school

-a Big Incentive will be given at the end of the year for any student that meets the criteria for all quarters. This will also come with a behavioral restriction and approval for all students to attend by the Administration.
